Amsterdam Writing Workshop

Are you looking for a Creative Writing Workshop in Amsterdam? We will start hosting Writing Workshops for Beginners and Intermediate Writers in 2026. You can bring your own works to discuss or write new works with us. 

These workshops will focus on both story-building elements and refining your prose. All questions and skill levels are welcome, so jump right in and let's have some fun!

Sim Sawyers

Sim has a BA in English Literature and Minors in Creative Writing and Latin. She has been freelance editing novels since 2019. You can catch up with her on her Instagram, @simsawyersediting. 

JD Sawyers

JD has a BA in Spanish and French with a Minor in English Literature. He was a teacher for four years and is the current owner of Mangrove Boekhandel here in the Netherlands. He has experience with short form, long form and screen-writing.
